Group Conduct

:bulletgreen: DO’S:

:star: If you want to RP, please feel free to enter the Pokimono Discord or comment on someone’s application! There is no harm done in asking as this is a friendly and open RP community.!

:pointr: Be respectful of all members and characters. We're all here to have a good time!

:pointr: Note the group or comment on the group's front page if you have any questions! Most questions are answered in journals already, so give them a read : )

:pointr: Non-members can hang out in the OOC channel only if they plan on joining the group or if their Join Request is already in the process of being reviewed by the mods. Otherwise, our chats are for members only.

:bulletred: DON’TS:

:pointr: No hatred, harassment, or discrimination. Keep good relationships between you and others.

:pointr: No harassing Pokimono's staff on their personal accounts! This includes sending them links of your applications, asking them questions about the group, or anything that should be on the group's pages and not theirs (Either on discord or DA).

:pointr: Don't advertise your commissions, personal streams, or anything deemed as an advertisement unrelated to Pokimono on the frontpage, journals, or discord server. We'll just delete them.

:pointr: No megastones, Z crystals, or arceus plates unless specifically granted through a special event.

:pointr: No Glitch pokémon or Ultra Beasts. Legendaries are reserved for mods.

:pointr: You charactercannot be shiny unless given a special blessing by Arceus or Yokunen the Jirachi.

**Refer to our Application journal for further information about character creation**

RP Conduct
RP Conduct

:pointr: Our group is rated NC-17. This means nothing R rated should be in the public chats. We have a NSFW chat for that, or take it to private conversations.

:pointr: NO GOD-MODDING. Keep your characters within the power that is both humanly possible and suit the Pokemon they are based on.

[If mods see God-modding, they may intervene and make sure everything is going fairly for all RPers. If your Cyndaquil knows Roar of Time, you may receive a warning or strike.]

:pointr: Don't be a drama llama ( ^∇^)

Application Sheets
Application Sheets

Applications may be drawn traditionally or digitally, but ALL applications must follow the following guidelines regardless of medium.

:star: General App Guidelines:

:pointr: Characters must be drawn full body.

:pointr: They must be drawn by you. We no longer accept bases or commissioned drawings on either OC sheets or NPC sheets.

:pointr: Only fully finished and colored pieces will be accepted on application sheets. No sketches.

:pointr: Every information section must be filled. No section left unfilled or unspecified.

For more details on the application process, please go to our Application Journal .

:star: Side Character (NPC) Guidelines:

:pointr: NPCs are only allowed for members that are in the group for at least one month.

:pointr: NPCs should not be used more often than your main character. NPCs have their own app template.

:pointr: NPCs can pray at the Arceus Shrine

:pointr: Members are allowed only one main character and up to five NPC characters maximum. You get 2 free NPC slots, but you must buy the additional 3 afterward.

:pointr: Add all links to your NPCs’ applications to the main character's description.

:pointr: Pets are allowed, however they are not allowed to possess moves or be used for battle (think of them as ordinary domesticated pets).

Gallery Submissions
Gallery Submissions

:star: Deviations must be submitted to the correct folders:
:pointr:  Main Character Applications go in the Villagers Folder. We will sort them into the proper village after that.
:pointr:  Your normal deviations goes to your village's main art folder.
(Eg.: Your main character is from Noir Vale, you submit your deviations to Noir Vale Art folder. Even if it is of your NPC or someone else’s character from a different village, the deviation should still go in the folder that belongs to your main character. Your art, your village.)
:pointr:  Event related deviations are submitted to the folder stated in the relevant journal.

:star: Remember to link/ thumbnail to your main character’s app sheet in the Artist's Comments of everything you submit, even if the art is not of your character.

:star: Along with your main application sheet, please make sure to include the submission's point count and update the total number of points you have. If you do not wish to receive points, just write 'N/A'
:pointr: Point Shop Journal found Here.

:pointr: No tracing or use of bases. No exceptions. This works on a three strike basis; if you’re caught tracing or using a base three times, you’re banned.

:pointr: Doodles and un-finished drawings belong in Sketch Dumps. Messy works won't be accepted.

:pointr: We hold semi-regular activity checks.

Rule Breaking
Rule Breaking

:pointr: Don't.

:pointr: We work on a 3 strike basis. Three strikes and you're out.

:pointr: If you have been banned, you are not welcome back in the group.

Making Changes
Making Changes

CHANGING ACCOUNTS

If you are moving accounts and still want to be a member:

:pointr: Note us, titled Moving Accounts, and include links to your application on both your accounts.

:pointr: Remove your old applications (both main and NPCs) from the group.

:pointr: Leave the group with your old account.

:pointr: Re-join the group with your new account just as you would if you were a new member.

CHANGING JOBS

:pointr: You may change your character’s job, as long as you explain or edit this change in your character's history in a reasonable way. You do not need to notify the group of the change, but be aware that you can only take a job that is available for your Village.

MAKING CHANGES TO CHARACTERS

:star: If you no longer want to use the character you created, you can change your character either by making them an NPC or removing them from the group completely.

Switching Villages:

:pointr: If the village has free spots, put your character on the proper Village application sheet and then note the group. The mods will then move your character to the appropriate folder. The mods will also reassign your Discord village role.

Switching NPC to Main:

:pointr: Purchase a Character Swap Voucher from the Points Shop, and notify the group of which characters you would like to swap. Provide links to both apps.

:pointr: Remove the characters you wish to swap from the group.

:pointr: Resubmit the characters on the appropriate applications (new main on a Village app, old main on an NPC app).

The mods will then sort your characters to the right folder accordingly, as well as reassign your Discord village role.

Creating a new Main OC altogether:

:pointr: Purchase a Character Swap Voucher from the Points Shop, and note the group. Provide a link to the new main (Be sure they are on the correct app sheet), as well as the link to your current Main.

:pointr: Once the mods have reviewed the new Main’s app and approved it, you may submit it to the group.

:pointr: After the new main has been submitted to the group, please edit the old Main’s art onto an NPC application.

Changing Pokemon Species

:pointr: Purchase a Species Swap Voucher from the Points Shop, and notify the group of the swap. Provide a link to the character you wish to change, as well as their new design.

Evolution

:pointr: Purchase an Evolution Voucher from the Points Shop. If your character can evolve a second time, another Evolution Voucher must be purchased.

:star: If the mods find that your changes risk breaking any rules, they reserve the right to tell you to fix it.

LEAVING GROUP

:pointr: If you want to leave the group, the door's right there. We'll miss you. You can re-join anytime. Unless you were banned. Then you can't. Thanks.
